Submit Information on SB Training Opportunities
Classroom / On-the-Water Training Sector Baltimore Workshops Sector Baltimore Workshops are usually held at either Southern High School in Harwood, MD or South River High School in Edgewater, MD during February (see online Calendar for exact date, location, and detail information). Operations Workshop Annual attendance at an Operations Workshop is mandatory for all District 5sr boat and aviation crew/coxswain qualified members. These workshops are offered at several times and locations throughout the boating season beginning at the Sector Baltimore Workshop usually held in February (see online Calendar for dates, location and detail information). Division 1 Operation Workshops - for available dates, times, location and detail information see online Calendar. Team Coordination Training (TCT) - for available dates, times, location and detail information see online Calendar. Specialty Course Weekend A specialty course weekend similar to that offered at the USCG Training Center in Yorktown, VA is being offered at CG Yard, Curtis Bay. These weekends provide members the opportunity to meet and interact with fellow Auxiliarists from throughout Sector Baltimore while simultaneously taking one of the Coast Guard Auxiliary specialty courses:

Yorktown Specialty Course Weekend 5th Coast Guard District (sr) members are offered the chance to attend during the spring and fall a specialty course weekend at the CG Training Facility located in Yorktown, VA. These weekends provide members the opportunity to meet and interact with fellow Auxiliarists from throughout District 5sr while simultaneously taking one of the Coast Guard Auxiliary specialty courses:
Overnight billeting is available at the Coast Guard Training Center Yorktown VA (see online Calendar for dates and detail information). Auxiliary Class "C" Training Program The Coast Guard offers a broad range of training to Auxiliarists. The Office of the Chief Director Auxiliary maintains a description and master schedule for these courses.
