Recreational Boating Safety Program Decal

RBSVP is a boating safety outreach program aimed at both the general public and program partners.  Its objectives are to promote, encourage, and support boating safety through establishing partnerships with marine dealerships, marinas, boating/yacht clubs, boat builders, water privileged communities, and other local businesses or organizations (program partners) that touch recreational boaters close to the point of use.

The goals of the RBSVP program are to:

  1. Develop, raise, and maintain a high level of awareness related to boating safety topics, issues, guidelines, practices, procedures, and considerations

  2. Provide ongoing and convenient access to boating safety related information, continuing education, training, and resources

  3. Distribute and make available at the point of use relevant boating safety related literature, information, decals, stickers, publications, reminders, and assistance

This program directly supports the US Coast Guard’s boating safety mission and is facilitated by trained and qualified members of the United States Coast Guard Auxiliary (PV's).

RBSVP is NOT tied to LAW ENFORCEMENT
